The Bison Council recently descended upon Orlando, and our friends at The Meat House were gracious enough to let us join them at another stellar fest—The Downtown Food and Wine Festival.
Held at lovely Lake Eola Park in the (mostly) abundant sunshine, the Floridians came out in droves to beat the heat. How? With a glass of wine (or beer! or Italian Ice!) and complimentary tastes of bison sausage, courtesy of The Bison Council.
We once again featured our Wild Rice & Asiago Cheese bison sausages, as well as our Smoked Hickory bison sausages. Not surprisingly, they received warm welcome after warm welcome. As a matter of fact, our sausages were so hot that we even got a little competition from Freddy Stokes, who was there selling his sausages as well. Check out that ring in the pic above!
And of course, people once again discovered another ingenious use for our oven mitts. We still think they’re best used to cook a good bison sausage on the grill, but do with them what you will!
